Pray for the Church

Prayer is such an important part of ministry and our walk with Christ. We would love for you to pray for us! Here are a few ways that you could pray for our ministry.

Group Prayer in Church Sanctuary

Pray for the Presence of God and His Spirit.

Pray that our church would always be about God's honor and Glory and that all we do would be for that purpose. Invite the Holy Spirit to move freely to work in and through us.

Pray for the Pastor/Leadership.

Pray for wisdom and discernment to lead the church in a way that would honor and glorify God, build up the body of Christ (The Congregation) and reach the lost. Pray for protection, encouragement and strength as the pastor is in the front lines of the spiritual battle. Pray God would raise up God fearing leaders.

Pray for Unity!

Mark 3:25 says..."if a house divided against itself, that house cannot stand."

We see Jesus pray for future believers in John 17 and He prays for the unity of the believers! Unity of believers is the heart of God!

"I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and in the same judgement." ~ 1 Corinthians 1:10

Pray that we would be binded together in chords of love and unified with the same mind that is in Christ Jesus, united behind the Gospel. Pray against divisions, against gossip and slanderous talk. May our speech be the only one to build up and encourage.

Pray for Healing and Restoration.

There are hurting people, pray that God would heal broken hearts and broken relationships. Ask God for a sensitive heart and eyes to see those who are hurting and in need in our church. Ask Him to point out ways to help and encourage them. If there is someone you need to ask forgiveness from, don't wait, act now!

Pray for Provision.

Pray that God would raise up leaders in our church to fill needs in different ministry areas, ask God to reveal if that may be you. Pray God would continue to provide for our financial needs.

Pray for Growth.

Pray that God would grow us individually in our spiritual maturity and that our church would be faithful in cultivating that growth. Although numbers are not the end goal or measure of God's work, we would like to see our church filled, not for our glory but for God's glory and the building up of church. Let's pray that God would send us out to bring in new people, to see our church filled with new families/individuals!
